I wouldn't advise making too many particular mistakes though like e.g. engaging in certain bad habits that can become addictions and illnesses/diseases. One big enough thing that made me the person I am today is the large number of mistakes I made, particularly as a teenager and young adult. I worry about young people growing up today because while in some ways they are more evolved than their preceding generations, in some ways life is more troublesome and dangerous for them. Illegal drugs and their hugely increased potency compared to in the past is a huge issue. As is gambling. There are other aspects of modern life in 2021 that concern me also that I won't go into today.

I believe it's easy, especially when you are young although it would apply to most people throughout life, to replace alcoholism and other addictions with other isms that are also unhealthy (e.g. mad fundamentalism, mad patriotism) but I was delighted to read this in the book of Tony's I am reading now One Minute Wisdom as it expresses how I often feel today.

A part of me can't believe the talk about we are all part of God individuated but I am inclined to agree with the talk overall or mostly.
