Every person has toxic traits, flaws, and annoying habits.

NEGLECT can be traumatizing.
Being emotionally invalidated and ignored can be traumatizing.
No one being attuned to your needs can be traumatizing.

Remove people from meaning in their lives. From their families most of the day. Put them in intensely stressful financial situations where they can easily numb with processed food, alcohol, or drugs and of course people are depressed.

I know you are still suffering even if you don’t meet “criteria” for PTSD.
Your pain is real, + I don’t need a diagnostic and statistic manual (DSM) to tell me such.
NOT all post-traumatic experiences fit neatly into a box.

I bought my second painting from Caoimhghin Ó Croidheáin this afternoon.
I bought my first one in 2004 and thought that the second one I bought today of the first meeting of the first Dáil in 1919 might have been painted in 2019 with it being the 100 year anniversary of the occasion but it was actually painted in 2006! 😊 The year is written on it.
I am going to get the new one framed next week like I did with the last one.
