Sound therapy — DJP (2026)
I saw a couple of ads on Facebook recently for this guy's Banah Winn sound therapy or "Golden Ratio
Frequencies" sounds and I bought a one-off subscription for $37 and it is a great investment I believe.
Listening to the tunes though had me wanting to listen to other tunes as well and I found out that there are
probably unsurprisingly sound therapy videos to listen to on Youtube for free. See the video below
as a good example. Sound therapy is great a mon avis. :)
Update – Check out this excellent channel incl. the playlists. It's fantastic for meditations:

True I believe!
While I believe in Reiki I am hesitant to assume that any trained / attuned Reiki Masters I come across are somehow Masters of life.
The Reiki Masters who I have gone to for sessions over the last 25 years have generally been ok and intelligent enough but I find the secularisation of spirituality in terms of people involved in general in spirtuality but not being active on social / political issues very dubious.

This is one of the single most fundamental things that can be learned in my experience.
Although it is important to develop in other ways too.
I learned this when I was 19 a few months after I got into Reiki but it took me years after to
develop in other ways too.

Sadhguru (152) / Reiki / The spiritual path — DJP (2025)
I saw a short video on Youtube in the last year or two of Sadhguru criticising Reiki saying something like that it is not a good or real spiritual practice.
Reiki is not the Z of life (see quote below). Whether getting attuned to it is the A or e.g. H of life it's the beginning of what should be a remarkable, challenging and exhilarating life.Although of course to get to the stage of getting attuned to it is usually the Z of an earlier I believe usually remarkable and often painful journey too.
I agree with Sadhguru that some Reiki practitioners don't journey much or far after getting attuned to it, not that I know many Reiki practitioners. I am thinking of the area(s) of social justice and society in particular and the non-existence of work in this / these areas outside of giving / sending Reiki.
I am not trying to discount giving / sending Reiki as I believe it works but if you are not working in some way in the areas of social justice you are I believe not living a very actively spiritual life in the mold of Jesus and other prophets and spiritual leaders.
