Update on the as Gaeilge hashtags - Youtube
I posted here a few days ago about the Irish language placenames hashtags I got registered on Youtube. Since then I have gone through my podcasts again more than once and while most of the newer hashtags I entered are not showing up with their own hashtag pages, presumably because I do not have many podcasts with the tags, these hashtags below are showing up properly with their own pages on top of the original placename tags I managed to get registered with their own pages.
#DarranSMacanPhríora (My name as Gaeilge)
#AoifeNicCanna (Irish-speaking DJ and former long-time volunteer with Near FM)
#RaidiónaLife (Dublin's Irish language community radio station)
#RaidióFáilte (Belfast's Irish language community radio station)
#BailenahAbhann (Village in Conamara / Connemara - where TG4 and Cúla4 are based)
#CluainDolcáin (Clondalkin, South Dublin)
#AnCheathrúGhaeltachta (The Gaeltacht Quarter - Béal Feirste / Belfast)
#AntAontasEorpach (The European Union as Gaeilge)

Haischlibeanna d'logainmneacha Gaeilge - Youtube
During the week I spent a few hours updating (or rather correcting) a lot of my hashtags on Youtube for my Youtube channels and the Ar Muin na Muice Near FM Youtube channel which I administrate.
I mainly formatted them properly just for the as Gaeilge / bilingual podcasts I have done with hashtags of placenames in the Dublin 15 area (where I live) and in the catchment area of Near FM including the Dublin Bay North constituency - Near FM's catchment area is north-east Dublin City and not Fingal but the station is based in Dublin Bay North in terms of the Dáil which includes part of Fingal.
Anyway all the below placenames as Gaeilge in these two lists are now registered on Youtube with their own individual pages e.g #AnChúlog (Coolock).
Hopefully the nós of adding as Gaeilge placename tags will catch on on Youtube and I won't be surprised if it does / at least somewhat. I remember hearing that the nós was popular on TikTok.
The As Gaeilge placenames I registered on Youtube and with their own individual pages now include:
Baile Átha Cliath 15 agus An Mhí / Dublin 15 and Meath
#AnChúlóg / Coolock

I agree. And it can be pretty annoying the way some people, even well educated people, see some causes you are passionate about as trivial and irrelevant.

I was never into the whole competition thing. Most of my education and work days were fairly easy going. It's sad seeing young people being competitive and it's sad that their parents assumingly passed that idea onto them. It's a recipe for spiritual breakdown. I am not talking about sports and some other areas where competition to be the best / one of the best is understandable for some people. I am talking in particular about young people in education.
I believe in personal and spiritual growth and this can encompass the education and work environments. I hated working with control freaks though and I try to stay clear of them.

I was like this for a couple of years after I left college for reasons I won't bother going into but needless to say never again.
