True I believe!
While I believe in Reiki I am hesitant to assume that any trained / attuned Reiki Masters I come across are somehow Masters of life.
The Reiki Masters who I have gone to for sessions over the last 25 years have generally been ok and intelligent enough but I find the secularisation of spirituality in terms of people involved in general in spirtuality but not being active on social / political issues very dubious.

I was thinking about this book recently (I read it 25 years ago and still have my copy) for a couple of reasons.
While the book was largely aimed for raising perspectives in the assisted dying debates around the world (it first came out in 1997) I think Scott said at the start of the book that he wasn't taking a side in being for or against assisted dying and was simply writing and publishing the book to talk about the denial of the soul in healthcare - healthcare and life in general as opposed to in relation to assisted dying only from what I recall.
Alas, as with he suspected his books in general, not many people seem to have read this book of his over the years, despite him not being an unsuccessful author as authors come and ago. I for one support assisted dying (at least in some contexts) but I have believed in the existence of soul / spirit and us humans having souls for most of my adult life although many people - including I would add many highly educated people - consider the idea nonsense. More fools them! Just because (in my opinion) most people are not very spiritually / soulfully developed in some or many ways does not mean that the idea of us all in the world having souls and there being a God / Creator in existence is nonsense. Again more fools them.

Attracting a lot of birds, bees and butterflies to your garden?
A friend recommended I put a question into ChatGPT about it and I did as I am going to try to encourage my Dad to plant some plants in his garden in Roscommon to attract loads of birds, butterflies and bees.
