I did a search on ChatGPT after seeing these tweets (see thread) and it turns out that Nicole is, kind of
unsurprisingly, right - we can become addicted to stress. I never heard of this addiction before today.
Update - I did a search on ChatGPT again and apparently being addicted to stress is not recognised as
an official medical illness / addiction in itself but
"informally, many health professionals do recognise the idea of “stress addiction” or “adrenaline addiction”, even though it’s not an official diagnosis."
