Donating
It only really registered with me a few years ago, a good while after I had got more involved in the (International) Development Sector in Ireland that if you donate €10 a month to a NGO or charity that that works out as €120 a year: which only works out as €2.50 a week. A €5 monthly donation works out as €60 a year and only €1.25 a week. I know that a lot of people have no disposable income in Ireland, but if you do there are loads of good causes and organisations you can dontate to, both in Ireland and elsewhere. I recommend knowing a lot about different organisations though so you can target your funds to the better ones.

M. Scott Peck (10)
I don't remember M. Scott Peck saying this in any of his books I have but I have found the quote loads of times on the net tonight when doing a search for his quotes so it probably is true, I think, and sounds like something qualitative he would say. :) He has changed my life more than any other writer. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
